NASCAR 2/NASCAR 99 REALISM PROJECT
	Welcome to the Nascar 2/99 page for the Realism Project. Below are installers (main program and basic carset) Next there will be updates for each point race in Winston Cup
	Important note: On some computers systems the command file.exe -d works incorrectly and informs about corrupted ZIP files. So we decided to use only ZIP files for keeping updates. The command for running update is always: pkunzip -d file.zip Here is the link to pkunzip extractor: pkunzip.exe (ie. instead of 'n99r.exe' run 'pkunzip -d n99r.zip') Please set your sim to display laps as SPEED (mph) not as time !!! Select OPTIONS/LAP DISPLAY/SPEED !!!
	THE DOWNLOADS
	Nascar 2/99 Winston Season Patch installer This file contains the main program and documentation Note - we decided to put the intaller into simple self extracting file, to reduce the bandwith during the downloads. Simply download this file, copy it to your N2/N99 file and start it, by typing in the command line: n99r.zip -d It will create N99real directory where you will find 1. Docs - documentations dir 2. n2real.exe (DOS version for using with N2 or N99 DOS version), n99real2.exe (Win 95/98 version for using with DOS versions of N2/N99) N99real.exe (Win95/98 version for using with Win version of N99), 3. n99real.cal - setting data for each event - refer to documentation for more info 4. Races - races datas directory 5. In main N2/N99 directory you'll find 1999rwc.cal calendar file (for N2bgnsep or N99) and '1999rwc' calendar (for original N2) - for using with the realism project - the tracknames must be the same as the tracks in n99real.cal !!! Please take a look into 'n99real.txt' file, which explains quickly how to use this patch. Docc directory - there is some additional information and documents related to the main documentation Nascar 2/99 Winston Season Patch update (99-08-05) Copy this zip file to your 'n99real' directory and run ii by writing in the command line: pkunzip n99r-upd.zip This will replace previous versions of the util. Fixed some bugs and added error handling of situation when CAR names is different then those from starting grids files + fixed getting results for race No 1 - Daytona (with special qualifying rukes) Includes 3 versions: for DOS, for Win and for DOS (running from Win) and Darrell Waltrip #66 car with correct driver name (copy it to your CARS directory) Nascar 2/99 Season Patch update for Busch Grand National (BGN) (99-05-17) This is special version of the pack to work with Storm Motorgroup BGN Carset Please make 'n99rbgn' directory (for instance) and then unzip it by writing in the command line: pkunzip n99r-bgn.zip NOTE: Please visit Storm Motorgroup (link at the bottom of the page) to download carset and race settings (thanks to Don and Larry !) Includes 3 versions: for DOS, for Win and for DOS (running from Win) Nascar 2/99 Season Patch update for Craftsman Truck Series (CTS) (99-05-17) This is special version of the pack to work with Storm Motorgroup CTS Carset Please make 'n99rcts' directory (for instance) and then unzip it by writing in the command line: pkunzip n99r-cts.zip NOTE: Please visit Storm Motorgroup (link at the bottom of the page) to download carset and race settings (thanks to Don and Larry !)
